to charity shops along with most ornaments, crockery and bric
a brac. If we feel that certain goods have a reasonable resale
value we may even offer to buy these goods.
There
is usually a certain amount of goods that will need disposing
of. There was a time that Doncaster council would allow us
to simply drive into the nearest recyling centre and tip the
goods free of charge.
How much will my house clearance cost ?
Most
house clearances require a 2 man removal crew. However as
house clearances are less time sensitive than removals and
can be arranged around other commitments our rates for house
clearances are lower. Most house clearances require a luton
van which we can usually load and unload locally in around
3 hours. Assuming a proportion of the goods will need to be
tipped the cost to clear a large van load is usually £200
inclusive of tipping charges.
If
many of the goods from your house clearance can be donated
locally the cost will be lower.
In
addition we agree to buy any of your furniture, the price
we agree on will be deducted from the costs. If the furniture
we agree to buy exceeds the clearance charges we pay you the
difference.
Cheaper
House clearances.
If
you are able to provide assistance loading and unloading the
goods at the waste transfer site, charity shop or both we
may be able to offer a man and van service at a lower rate.
We do not give fixed prices for this service you simply pay
an hourly rate of 24.00 with a minimum charge of 24.00
Plus any tipping charges incurred.

you require a house clearance prior to a family bereavement
we recognize that this will be both a sad and stressful time
for those involved. You can rely on Mastermove to provide

at a time convenient to you our removal crew will arrive on
time to clear the house carefully and efficiently.

If
you prefer Mastermove can pack all loose items for a small
charge agreed at the survey stage, Alternatively we can provide
low cost used boxes from as little as 1.00 each.
Preparing for house clearance.
1.The
most important thing to do prior to the day of the clearance
is to go through the entire house to be sure that there are
no goods that a relative might want as once the clearance
is complete it is impossible to recover any goods.
2.You
should also dispose of any perishable items such as food or
medicine as we cannot dispose of these goods.
3.
Unless you have requested our packing service all loose items
should be packed into boxes to allow them to be stacked in
the van van, Please try to ensure that boxes are not to heavy
to move especially when packing books.

If
you are unable to be at the house for a survey prior to the
day of the house clearance you can use our online

address that you are moving too. However the quote will be
based on disposal of all goods as we will be unable to view
the furniture. If you have goods you want to sell you can
omit them from the inventory and offer them to us on the day.
However should we not want to buy these goods they will be
left at your disposal. If you want them to be included they
must be added.
